Fears
Our anxieties and apprehensions play a crucial role in deciding whether or not we end up buying something. We’ll refer to these as fears, as these are almost always driven or influenced by our own internal system. Put yourself in the mind of your ideal customer, what things are they most likely to worry or feel fearful about?
Examples:
- Price: Will I end up paying over the odds?
- Promise: Will I be left disappointed?
- Perception: Will I end up being judged by others?
- Participation: Will I have to do something I’ve never done before?
Exercise:
Write down an answer to each of the customer questions above, then write down at least one reason for each of your answers.
